Now that you’ve received a stylish new diaper bag, it’s time to start filling it with all the essentials! This bag will become one of your most important tools and when stocked correctly can help you survive any likely mishap! Although what you’ll need to carry will depend on the age of your baby and the climate you live in, we’ve compiled a few tips and suggestions to help you be prepared for almost anything!
New Baby Essentials
- Spare Diapers (at least 3 or 4)
- Plastic bags for used diapers
- Plastic bag for wet clothes
- 1-2 changes of clothes for baby
- Baby coat or sweater
- Pacifier (if using)
- Bottles/breast milk/formula
- Extra formula (if using)
- Ice pack to keep milk chilled
- Burp cloth
- Bib
- Spare socks (somehow they always seem to come off)
- Receiving blanket
- Baby carrier or baby sling
New Mom Essentials
- Wallet
- Cell phone
- Drinking Water
